Year End Tournament and Season Recap
The U11 Boys finished their season 14-7-1 which landed them in 4th place going into the  year-end tournament.
At the tournament, they finished 4th after facing some very strong opponents in the 'A' division.

The team started off Saturday morning with a win in their first game against the PDP Lightning with a close 7-6 finish.

They fell short in their second game against the Norwich/Otterville Otters who were ranked #1 going into the tourney.

They went right into game #3 against the Springfield Brewers which was another nail-biter taking a 13-12 win in extra innings.

Sunday morning they were defeated by the Ayr Jr. Vics who went on to win the top spot in the 'A' division.

Pitching by Jake Dufton, Parker Riehl, Lane Leversage, Max Barnett and Clark Pletsch contributed to the teams success with a total of 27 strikeouts.

Carter Newman was great behind the plate catching almost all of the innings played this weekend.

Notable highlights:

Lane Leversage - a great snag at 2nd base for the last out in the PDP game. Lane also made a great running catch in centre field to end the inning in the Norwich game. Then he had a walk-off double scoring 2 runs to defeat Springfield in extra innings.

Logan Denis made an excellent double play in the Ayr game, scooping up the ground ball, tagging the runner and throwing to first.

The rest of the team's defense was sound, they put up a good effort on the infield.

Lane Leversage: 2-1B, 2-2B, 1-3B, 1-BB
