June 17 Game Report
The U11 boys had a very informative hitting session Friday night with Isaiah and Derek of the Toronto Batmen. They took this knowledge into their game Saturday against the Ayr Jr. Vics who are one of the top teams in the league.
The boys were patient at the plate taking 18 walks which resulted in a 12-8 victory.
Offensive Highlights:
Liam McSherry with 3 singles
Jake Dufton with a single
Logan Denis with a single
Clark Pletsch with a double
Quality pitching again from Jake Dufton and Parker Riehl.
Logan Denis and Clark Pletsch each making solid catches on in-field pop-ups and Max Barnett made an outstanding catch in centre field.
Overall we had a positive attitude from the entire team which will lead us forward into our next game Wednesday evening against Innerkip #2 and the ORSA tournament in Norwich next weekend.
