U5 Learn to Play Program
Embro Minor Baseball Association is proud to offer a U5 Learn to Play (LTP) program designed for boys and girls born in 2021 and 2022.
This program is the perfect introduction to the sport of fastball, focusing on fun, movement, and basic skill development in a positive, low-pressure environment.
The U5 LTP program runs on Monday evenings, beginning May 25, 2026, and continues for 8 weeks. Each session is approximately 50 minutes, typically broken down into:
🥎 30 minutes of basic instruction (throwing, catching, hitting, and running)
🥎 20 minutes of fun game play to finish the night
The emphasis at this age is on learning the fundamentals, building confidence, and, most importantly, having fun on the field!
All players will receive an official EMBA hat and jersey, personalized with their name & number, helping them feel like part of the team from day one.
VOLUNTEER LED PROGRAM
Our U5 program is parent-run, with guidance and support from EMBA. No prior coaching experience is required, just a willingness to help and be involved. It’s a great way to support your child, meet other families, and be part of the EMBA community.
